It’s not the first time it has happened, nor are they the only ones to receive such an attack. facebook just loves to suspend the accounts of conservative groups. Not only do they unjustly remove pages without justification, they also like to inhibit circulation of conservative speech. How many times have you posted conservative messages across facebook pages only to be banned from posting? It has happened to me on several occasions.
Their latest attack is against a patriot organization, The Patriot Nation. As I said before, this isn’t the first attack on the Nation’s page.
The First Amendment guarantees the freedom, among other things, of speech and assembly. The Nation has violated no facebook policies, (except for being conservative).
Please click this link and send facebook a message, telling them to reinstate The Patriot Nation’s page, and to stop targeting conservatives. Who do they think they are? The IRS?
I’m with you and don’t think they should be targeted! Facebook allows VITRIOL by many users… against Christians, Conservatives, women, men, etc.
But I also have to say that Facebook is a privately owned company. Yes, people own stock but still, it’s privately owned (last time I heard anyway). So I don’t know how much difference contacting them would make. The only REAL DIFFERENCE that we could make would be for all those who’ve been ‘targeted’ and discriminated against by FB along with ALL those groups I mentioned to PULL OUT of Facebook 100%! If we all just left, deleted our information and found somewhere else to interact with friends & those we relate to FB would crash (or be in terrible shape at least). THEN there might be real change. But I doubt that’s ever going to happen.
Sorry for the downer but I’m also a realist… just sayin.
