Remember the IRS scandal that emerged due to the investigations into conservative groups, and denials of tax-exempt status to those groups. Well, that prompted conservatives, across America to protest, their abysmal treatment by the IRS, and guess what they ran into during their protests. The Department of Homeland Security at most IRS protest sites, acting as a national policing agent, to protect government agencies, against citizen protestors. That’s right, not local or state police, but the Department of Homeland Security. (head scratcher, indeed.)
