In my last post, here on Politichicks.tv, I asked you to think and react proactively toward the Obamacare debacle, and not rely on 20/20 hindsight in fighting back against the assault on your freedoms and your health care. For quite some time, the Republicans have been foretelling of the catastrophic financial disasters that Obamacare will bring for individual Americans. While the mainstream left wing media dismissed them as tin-foil hat hysteria, we now know they were correct. And those realities are becoming facts in the lives of Americans as they are trying to absorb their new (insurance) costs. Now lets look at how your actual health care will be affected. And, let’s all remember, Obamacare insurance is not “healthcare”–it’s insurance.
Ask yourself, how will Obamacare affect your physical health care, and of how can we be proactive in maintaining control of our health, despite the government’s best efforts to derail that, too? Don’t let 20/20 hindsight be your guiding principle here.
The best defense is a good offence. Knowledge is power, and it will take millions of Americans looking ahead, becoming informed, and using their personal power to make decisions in defiance of what is being offered and suggested by the, so called, experts, in the health fields. Taking control of your health care means just saying “no” to revised guidelines. And as you read further, keep “Death Panels” in the back of your mind.
We have already seen the story of cancer patients, losing their life saving coverage, due to Obamacare. In this world, timing seems to be everything, and there are many, we now know, who will lose in the timing of the rollout of this disastrous policy.
Edie Littlefield has survived stage 4 Cancer for seven years and now her team of doctors, her hospital, and her lifesaving treatments are no longer available to her because her policy has been canceled. While most Americans, including Edie Littlefield, once had the option of choice, under future policy you may not ever get the chance to choose your doctor, hospital or your treatment.
One has to wonder, is it just a coincidence recommendations for proactive health screenings are taking a dramatic turn from previously suggested standards at the same time Obamacare has been forced upon American citizens?
According to research, the previous school of thought, that yearly pap screenings were necessary to detect early cancers in women, is no longer the standard. Women are now being conditioned to rethink their yearly screenings according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynocologists. In October of 2012, they issued a statement outlining why women should receive pap screenings no more than once every 3 to 5 years, and testing for human papillomavirus (HPV) should be limited to women over 30, and then only once every 5 years.
ACOG has determined since cervical cancers in women originate from HPV, “Only a small fraction of women with persistent HPV infection will . . .
